not one fucking state can you work full time for minimum wage and have enough money for even basic necessities. that blows my mind.
The system is not set up to benefit the general population. We are not seen as people, but mechanisms for maximising profit for the ruling classes. There’s only one attribute that matters: how much value can be extracted from us. The structure under which we live is not designed to care about anything else.
tbh riotgrrl feminists ruined the word patriarchy for me. like yes there definitely is a very real male system of oppression in place but i wish i could call it patriarchy without having to think of handmade uterus patches sold on etsy by someone named lindsay
